Students Begin Course Selection
The SOJO Course Catalog for 2012-2013 has been released and students are reviewing it on Tuesday and Thursday this week. Students will begin to select their courses for next year in the coming weeks!
SOJO Academic Decathletes take 3rd in SouthWest Silver Regionals
Led by Gold Medals by Carol Rodriguez (Music) Angel Garcia (Music, Social Studies) Silver Medals: Karen Canales (Economics, Music) and Daniel Flores (Music) the brand new SOJO ACADEC team placed 3rd this past weekend in their Regional Divisional tournament. Click on link to see all awards.

SOJO has released the draft of Sections I and II of its Full School Day Plan. We want public feedback and are looking for your comments.
Ieasha Crosby takes silver medal in Academic Decathlon city-wide scrimmage
10th grade student Ieasha Crosby won a silver medal in the math portion of academic decathlon scrimmage this past Saturday 1/14/11 at the city-wide Lane Tech tournament. Strong 4th place finishes were had by Angel Garcia (10th) Jennifer Guzman (10th) and Yadira Lopez in (10th) in Social Studes, Language and Lit, Art, and Music respectively.
